Happy birthday to my favorite actor

Today is one of my favorite actors birthday. He would have been 120 years old today. Haha ya so he died back in 1984. My favorite actor is William Powell, he died at age 91. It seems all the actors that I love died almost 30 years ago. William Powell is most known for playing a detective in my favorite movie The Thin Man. William Powell is an extremely charming actor and man. I think that’s what I like best about him, is that his charm comes jumping off the screen. Plus that trademark mustache of his is pretty damn awesome. I am currently reading several books about his ex-wife Carole Lombard. I enjoy reading books about on screen couples from the 30s. Carole Lombard and William Powell are my top couple. I have a wall in my bedroom covered with vintage press photos of the couple when they were married. The photos are original print from the press used in the gossip columns. I have three books on the man, and still aching to learn more about him. I wish more people wrote more about this man I admire so much. I guess you can even say I have a crush on him. I have a huge crush on a dead celebrity( thats weird to say aloud). I’m pretty sure I’ve bought every book about him. Practically every book I buy is 99 cents thanks to Amazon. I am so obsessed with William Powell and Carole Lombard that I found the book that he was holding in one of the photos from 1932 when they were newlyweds. The book is called Married Love and was written in 1818 and my copy is from 1931. Below is the picture of William Powell  and Carole Lombard with the book that I bought. On the right is me, duh holding the book.

As you can see, I truly love this couple. Happy birthday to the most charming man that lived, Mr. William Powell.

Fun Fact: the Pixar sketch Presto, the magician is based off William Powell
